Biography of the Automotive Practice Group Leader
Jörg Dötter, head of the Automotive Practice Group, has been a managing partner in the Düsseldorf branch of InterSearch Germany since 1998.
He studied economics at the University of Marburg. With a degree in business administration, he worked for two years in a Human Resources department for a group of companies, followed by three years with a business consulting firm before joining InterSearch in 1993. He provides consultancy services to both SMEs and groups of companies in Germany and abroad and advises them on appointments for specialist/managerial positions in middle and top-level management.
Jörg has more than 15 years experience in national and international recruiting projects in the automotive supplier industry from specialist positions, technical positions (Engineers, Plant Manager, VP Operations, VP SCM, VP Quality) over sales positions (Sales Director, Key Account Manager) to financial and marketing positions (Manager Controlling, Customer Marketing Manager) as well as Purchasing positions (Director Strategic Purchasing, Purchasing Manager). He worked for the big Tier 1 suppliers as well as for mid and smaller sized companies and also for the Tier 2 suppliers.
